Series Rules
Rules and Regulations:
If you plan to participate in the series, there will be $25 administration fee (must pay at first event you fish)
If you plan to participate in the series big fish pot, there will be an additional $25 fee (must pay at first event you fish)
All North Carolina state fishing regulations apply
Anyone under the age of 16 must fish with a legal guardian
Teams can fish any tournaments they wish but must participate in at least three of the five
events to qualify for the series awards
No guides or licensed captains may fish together on one vessel anytime during the series.
If you fish three, four, or all five events, your top three scores will be taken
Each team must list a captain and a co-captain. One of these two individuals must be on the
boat at each tournament to qualify
At least one representative from each team must attend the captain’s meeting at each
tournament
Participants must follow the rules of the individual tournaments that make up the series
All winners will be subject to a polygraph test at the request of the series directors before
collecting their prize
Winners will be required to complete a W9 before payment if winning more than $600
In the case of any ties, money will be split evenly

Once you dock, immediately proceed to the scales for weigh-in
All boats must return under their own power
No hole-sitting
Good sportsmanship is expected before, during and after the tournaments. The tournament
directors can remove anyone at any time for any reason
You must have your assigned boat number (laminated paper), that you will receive at each
captain’s meeting, with you to weigh-in your fish. Anyone without this number will not be
permitted to weigh-in.
Series points are tallied as follows from each tournament:
First place – 100 points
Second place – 99 points
Third place – 98 points
Fourth place – 97 points
and so on...
Big fish for each tournament – 1 bonus point
Series Prize Pool: $10,000
Series Payouts: 1st – $4,000 2nd - $3,000 3rd - $2,000 4th - $1,000
*Big Fish - $25 fee collected from each participate
*If you fish three out of five events and choose to participate in the Big Fish Pot in each one, there will be a prize given for the accumulative weight of your four fish.
Series prizes to be awarded 30 minutes following the awards of the final event.
